Ignoring the limitations and expectations of the graffiti art scene, London based Burning Candy have made a name for themselves as being among the most prolific and creative street artists in the world. As individuals they are some of the biggest names both on the street and in the contemporary art galleries that exhibit their work. But it is their work as a group producing epic genre-defying murals that has cemented them as an unstoppable powerhouse.
A decision has been made for each of the artists to visit the home of the work that has most profoundly inspired each artist individually. Dots is going to journey with the artists around the world as they learn more about where their work has come from, explore its importance in their lives and how they can take it further.

Each of the Burning Candy crew is as distinct as the locations and cultures they wish to explore. The journeys we embark on in this film will bring about an exchange of ideologies, cultures and aesthetics. We will meet the artists, travel the world with them and share their unique vision of the places they visit.

The first section of the film has been completed;
Cyclops journeyed to India to pursue his love of the great handpainted Indian streetsigns. Here he met and collaborated with the locals and learnt why they do what they do and showed them why he paints graffiti. Despite being confused by the crazy Englishman's intent the 2 sides bonded over their art and created great work together.
While there he discussed how a life of self-destructive behaviour has had a positive impact on his motivation as an artist today.

Rowdy likes to paint crocodiles on enormous boulders and dump them in public places. He is off to the Australian outback to meet the Aboriginal people whose ancestors were the originators of the art form of painting on rocks.

James Jessop is a New York graffiti addict whose obsession manifests itself into oil paintings; his life and art have depended on the New York scene/aesthetic ever since he stole graffiti bible Subway Art from a shop aged 13. Now in his thirties, he’s heading to New York to explore the subways and meet his heroes – the godfathers of the modern graffiti scene.
